Chief Executive Adrian Jackson will share his experience of leading the Grand Theatre since he took the helm in 2015. He has set a new vision and strategy for the theatre, which has 4 key pillars: Commercial, Artistic, Reputation and Community. This strategy has been the driving force for activity and decision making across the organisation, which has included a £1.2 million refurbishment of the Front of House areas, a return to producing for the first time in more than 25 years and a greater involvement in community through projects, as well as facing the challenges of the removal of local government funding.
The Grand Theatre continues to grow and entertain thousands of people every year, so it's an interesting and inspiring story about one of the most iconic and well-loved businesses in Wolverhampton.
Attendees will also have the chance to have a tour of the Front of House areas and take on the Grid Challenge. The Grid is 20m above the stage and it's where the fly system is suspended (which holds the scenery). It's a great team building activity, a great confidence builder and something to boast about afterwards!
