ABOUT ABOUT

As part of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce commitment with the European Commission, the Chamber will be holding a European Direct Information Centre (EDIC) event, during the Black Country Business Festival.

The working lunch will be of interest to all businesses and residents of the Black Country who wish to keep up-to-date with the latest developments and understand what they should plan next.

The topics will include a special focus on three key economic areas that have been highlighted as important by local business and residents:

               • International trade across EU borders during and post-Brexit negotiations;

               • Rights of EU nationals during and post-Brexit negotiations;

               • Rights of foreign workers in the UK during and post-Brexit negotiations.

A lively panel discussion with key Brexit speakers will include Alex de Ruyter from the Centre for Brexit Studies and Anastassia Beliakova, Head of Trade Policy British Chambers of Commerce and local business leader.

This event is part of our plan to ensure businesses and residents of the Black Country are kept up to date with the latest developments through dedicated newsletters and a series of events and workshops.
