ABOUT ABOUT

What are the skills that your organisation will need to thrive in the next five years? Walsall College hace commissioned an independent report on the workforce needs of our region, and are holding a panel discussion to explore the findings, and how businesses and skills providers should respond.

Our expert panel includes:

  • James Norris - Assistant Principal Commercial Development, Walsall College

  • Mark Stone - Apprentice Recruitment & CSR Manager, Perkins Engines Co Ltd

  • Laura Myatt - Project Analyst, Perkins Engines Co Ltd

  • Helena Baxter - Project Officer (Apprenticeship Programme), Walsall Council

  • Rachel Andrew - Head of Learning and Development, Dudley Group of Hospitals

What to expect:

  • Be the first to see the results of our independently commissioned report on local labour market workforce skills need, also revealing predictions for key growth occupations

  • Share where your organisation has experienced skills gaps, and let us hear your ideas

  • Hear from leaders who have successfully identified and mitigated skills gaps in their business

  • Learn how businesses of all sizes are making the apprenticeship levy work

  • Network with local businesses’, whilst enjoying canapé’s freshly prepared by our team at The Hub
