If so register your interest now.

HMP/YOI Brinsford, together with Choirs Beating Time (a charity who run weekly singing & performance groups in prisons, improving mental health, social inclusion and developing employability skills of participants: team working, communication, listening skills etc), invite you to register your Business to be involved in an exciting opportunity to meet some of tomorrow's workforce. Be a part of a job opportunities networking event to: help young people of the Black Country take steps towards getting their life back on track; improve your understanding of the potential of the people in our prisons today; find out the breadth of skills and experience of the young gentlemen in Brinsford; and be able to discuss with them what your business may have to offer them!

This event, jointly organised by the charity, Beating Time and HMP/YOI Brinsford, will take place as part of the Black Country Business Festival and is looking for businesses to become involved with the aim to increase employer/prison interaction, increase awareness of the potential of the prisoners in our region and enlighten young people to the array of job opportunities available to them.

The format of the event will see attendees given the chance to speed network with local and national businesses. Around 60 young prisoners will attend allowing employers to showcase the profile of Black Country businesses.

1) The morning will start with a networking session aimed at the business volunteers. It will include a talk from Blue Sky, an award winning social enterprise that trains and employs ex-offenders., about the benefits to organisations that employing ex-offenders can bring as well as the practical advice and support that they provide to employers.

2) The speed networking will then follow on and will host over 400 individual speed network conversations.

3) This will then be followed by a buffet lunch and a tour of the prison workshops.
